OMAHA (DTN) -- U.S. corn and soybean planting are ahead of their respective five-year averages, according to USDA NASS's weekly Crop Progress report released on Monday.

Corn was 76% planted and 39% emerged.

Soybeans were 67% planted and 32% emerged.

Spring wheat was 73% planted and 39% emerged.

NASS estimated U.S. winter wheat condition at 35% good to excellent, down 2 points from 37% last week.
